Marble

Traditionally used in kitchens in a bygone era for their natural beauty and coolness for pastry-making. They were overtaken by harder granites with the advent of diamond tooling and machinery that was able to cut the harder materials. In recent years, we have witnessed a resurgence in popularity as people embrace the captivating natural striations and dynamic movement found in marble.

Marbles vary a lot in their hardness, and some may not be as practical for all applications but with careful selection and understanding of the maintenance involved, they add their own unique drama to any scheme. Available in an endless range of colours, prices vary hugely for each block. Block sizes also vary considerably. Please talk to our team or industry partners for more information.
