Our Spaces

The team here at AG Stoneworks love interiors. We are constantly looking at social media and galleries for inspiration and trends in design. Here are some varied materials in different applications around the home, both indoor and outdoor. Inspiration by room – seeing what other clients have done for similar spaces.
Kitchens
British kitchens have changed so much over the last century and more. Once a private domain where food prep was done out of view, the kitchen is often now the hub of the home where the family may spend a lot of time and into which guests are invited. The old “kitchen/dining/reception” distinction has been eroded, and that has changed the way we design and decorate our kitchens. Practicality is still important, but aesthetics and personal style have become far more centre-stage. Whether Cottagecore, Hugge, Farmhouse, Modern Classic, Contemporary or Industrial are your thing, AG Stoneworks can provide the stone worktop to fulfil your vision.
LIVING SPACES
Stone can be used almost anywhere in your home and this “Living” area shows the variety of applications. Home bar, home office, windowsills, media-walls, hearths, islands for dressing rooms, and table tops of all shapes and sizes – we have them all. We hope that this Living Spaces area will inspire you and get your creative design juices flowing.

Bathrooms and Vanities

Bathrooms are the sanctuary of the home. They provide that little bit of time to ourselves as we get ready for the day ahead or as we wind down before bed. The use of stone in bathrooms has grown in recent years. Without the chemical and physical challenges of the kitchen, bathrooms are often the place where very delicate natural stones come to the fore. Strikingly veined marbles bring drama to a vanity area or cloakroom. Plain materials – quartz or ceramics – can be used to create a more Zen or Spa-like feel. Often installed at 20mm or even 12mm thickness, these materials are ideal for shower walls and niches due to their stain-resistance and extremely low porosity.

Outdoor Spaces

In recent years, outdoor kitchens for entertaining have become increasingly popular. Warmer summers, the “Covid Years” and the availability of better, weatherproof pergolas have all driven this shift. By its very nature, “outdoors” means exposure to greater extremes of temperature and, probably, to water and UV light. This makes informed design and material choices critical if the kitchen is to last and stay looking good. From full outdoor kitchens with a large kamado, pizza oven and drinks bar to simple table tops and fire pits, we hope that you enjoy our inspiration for the great outdoors.
