Cosmic White Granite

This kitchen in Redhill has a wonderful centrepiece in this wild, well-lit island. A large kitchen in a relatively modest-sized home, the room demonstrates the on-going trend to multi-use spaces, with a dedicated homework nook as well as all the usual kitchen necessities. Cosmic White Granite – actually a granulite, we think – has long been a favourite for its bold pattern and reliability in use. Cosmic White granite worktops are easy to live with, in that the natural markings on the stone are very forgiving for dust, finger marks etc. At the same time, as a granulite with a monochrome palette, we would recommend occasionally resealing the worktops to avoid any sub-service staining which could add unwanted colours. From our experience, though, Cosmic White is by no means the most porous or difficult of stones of this type – we recommend it widely and our MD/Owner has it is his own home. Cosmic White comes from Brazil.
