Dekton Nacre in a garden kitchen, Dorking, Surrey

Small but perfectly formed, this simple L-shape garden kitchen was a collaboration with Anna – designer, recycler and all-round renovation guru at Feather and Faff. She chose the simplicity of Dekton Nacre from Cosentino. This warm off-white is lightly textured, making it tactile as well as visually beautiful. As a Dekton/sintered particle material, there is no polymer content, so ultra-violet is no threat or problem. Very high temperatures are also no issue, and zero porosity makes the worktop perform well through the winter freeze. Dekton is an ideal outdoor kitchen material!

The straightforward L-shape is finished with a downstand at each end, and a 300mm splashback on the longer run. The overall effect is clean and beautiful, in keeping with Anna’s trademark effortless sense of style! For more from Feather and Faff, go to Anna’s insta.
