Sintered and Ceramic Stoness

Sintered and ceramic stones are produced by using the hardest natural minerals and putting them under extreme heat and pressure. Sintered and ceramic stones are manufactured without any resin content so are better able to stand extreme heat, chemicals, and scratches. They can, however, be more brittle. In most cases the pattern is surface only, but some materials are more “Full-bodied” or at least have a self-coloured body and the technology in this area is developing continually. This area of the market is growing particularly with the popularity for outdoor kitchens and industrial matte textures.
